I haven't seen anyone mention it here, but I was able to see 8 or 9 Blazer games in HD last year on NBA TV that were otherwise only available on Comcast or the opponent's home broadcasting network. These were games that were only available to watch locally on CSN, but NBA TV did not black them out. In a lot of cases, NBA TV actually showed the CSN feed. I have Dish Network and NBA TV in HD is available as part of the HD Platinum package which is now free (used to be an extra $10/month) if you already have either the Gold or Silver HD package from Dish. So if NBA TV is available to you, you'll get a few extra games this year if Comcast is not an option.
I think it might be because you live in Jefferson ( no offense, but I don't even know where that is) and not Portland.
Jefferson's just a few miles south of of Salem. I'm only 50 miles from Portland and certainly within the blackout radius. And no offense taken. I moved out from Portland a few years ago. Before I bought a house here, I had never heard of Jefferson either. Trust me, there's no reason to visit.
