    How did we do against the four remaining NBA teams? Let's take a look at the results and scores to recap...

    Orlando (1-1, +6):
    @106-99
    108-109

    Cleveland (0-2, -11):
    98-104
    92-97 (OT)

    LA (2-2, -9):
    @76-96
    @86-100
    111-94
    106-98

    Denver (2-2, +13):
    @89-97
    101-92
    @90-106
    104-76

    Overall? 5-7, -1 point differential. Including an OT loss and a last-second, banked-in three pointer by Hedo in Portland.

    I think that's pretty impressive, I think, for such a young team. I think we're just behind these four teams at the moment, but who's not optimistic about us being at their level relatively soon?

    I am pretty sure we are also behind the Rockets, at least this year we were and we were also behind the Celts before KG went down.

    I will be surprised if the Blazers are not a much better team than they were this year - so there is hope they will be closer to an elite team next year or a year after that.

    These are the same stats that make me believe we realistically will be in the hunt next year. I am not saying we will win, just that we could and I wouldn't be surprised. Don't get that confused with high expectations, I just think tying for the 2nd best record in the west very quietly is only showing the tip of what we can do next season, plus a player or 2 possibly.
