“I know we are in a pretty good hole to get into the playoffs," acting Trail Blazers general manager Chad Buchanan told the Oregonian. "But we are not throwing in the towel. We are trying to win games until we are eliminated."

I'm not going courtside. Instead, I found 5th row center for $150! Not bad. Team is 0-6 when I'm in the building. We're due for a win. We could pull to within two games of the playoffs tonight. Go Blazers!

Does the jinx apply for 5th row?, or is that only a courtside thing?

Does Kingspeed finally breaks the curse of 2011-12?

I'm teasing of course because I've seen mention of the 'Kingspeed Jinx' but I believe you are due and maybe tonight is the night! I would love to see the Blazers win this game, tankers be damned!

Actually, as far as the "tankers" are concerned, a win tonight would only be an ironic continuation of the jinx...

I am sorry to hear that.

    Have a little self-respect.

Saying you are trying your hardest, and still failing is more embarassing than losing games because you shipped out two starters for picks in an obvious bid build for the future.

Just admit what is happening and go with it. Geesh.

I suppose Chad went out and bought a bunch of lottery tickets too - cause he "believes".

Do I want the team to sit LaMarcus the rest of the year if he is healthy? No.

Do I want them to give extra time to the young players to see what they can do? Yes.

Do I want them to experiement with different offenses and defenses whenever it makes sense? Yes.

Do I want them to make extra double, triple sure about any injured player before they let them on the court? Yes.

Do I care if that causes extra losses? Damn straight. That is the whole point. To lose extra games, improving the draft position, protecting the health of valued players, and learning some things about new plays, capabilities of players that can be confirmed all at the same time. Win Win.

Don't risk losing all that value in a lame attempt to squeak into the playoffs and be manhandled by the #1 seed.

Huh? It's true of every competitive team. The Thunder are trying to win until they are eliminated too.

Babbitt just made around 25 of 30 threes. They should put him in the 3 point contest. He drains them so easily.

Wow, 75 points! That's amazing... We have a superstar on our hands, at long last.

Wait a minute, the game hasn't started yet!
