I never understood why you people dont like the Blazers Edge, but the more I follow them, the more I understand it... theres so many idiotic comments on their articles, but not just that, even some of those who write for that site are idiots I mean, Nurk suffered an injury against UTA, and heres what editor of that site wrote: now, I believe you all remember when Nurk "allegedly" left the Arena without speaking to the press, that was the one time they were bashing him and now they did it again, and of course, people are buying it cause they dont use their brain... Nurk has gained a reputation of someone who is not professional while he was in DEN, but thats not true and everyone could see that when DEN came to POR, how DEN players greeted him and while ago when Nurk came back to DEN for the first time as POR player, he spent some time with DEN coaching staff etc and said he only had problems with Mike Malone Nurk was professional in DEN and he was nothing but professional in POR and bad reputation still follows him and it wont stop until people stop writing shit like that... when I came here I wrote hes immature, but not a headcase or anything even so, even if he didnt spoke to the press, is that really a big deal, something to make a fuss, good god... PS I forgot to say that of all places I go to (Portland Trail Blazers fb page, Blazers Edge, RealGM forum), this is by far the best place that gathers POR fans, cause I found this is the place where you can found the most realistic opinions about anything...
This board gets pissy at each other because we all believe were basketball smart, and hold a strong belief in our opinions. Truth is, compared to the average basketball fan, were very smart.
I love you, and I love Nurk. But he needs to be beast mode to continue with Portlandians. That is really all there is to it. Be the beast we know you can be.
like I said, of all places I go to read what POR fans are saying, this is by far the best one I didnt said everything thats written here its great, but compared to the other places, this is the best "POR fans community" you can find
I do and I like it I dont find it funny when player gets injured, on the other hand, if he wrote that under other circumstances... maybe its an american humor, what do I know I mean, even I insult Nurkic when he plays bad, not on this forum, but elsewhere
I think Nurk is very emotional. I also think that at times it is best for certain emotional type players to just stay away from the press. That being said i also think that Nurk needs to channel that emotion. "Grow up" if you will. He worked very hard this last summer to refine his body and playing style. Honestly now, how many people can actually go through that type of transformation in that short of time without putting in huge amounts of work. It shows he has tremendous work ethic. This summer and each year afterward i am pretty sure Nurk will continue with that type of hard work to continue to improve his game. This is only the very beginning of a good career.
Nurk is a man/pup....23 away in a foreign country making millions and having a blast. You are only young once, he's got a job to do and improve at the same time. I hope we keep him for a few more years because he will improve in all ways.
He needs to beast consistently. Until then, you never know what you're going to get... and fans like consistency. I don't blame them for feeling irked with nurk. Nirked.
Went to the best schools. Got the best grades. Portlanders' two greatest assets are mental stability and being, like, really smart. Very stable geniuses. Believe me.
I just have to point out that our continued fascination with a team that’s only won one title, and that over 40 years ago, might by some tend to call into question both our mental stability and our intelligence. Just sayin’.
Didn’t even know what blazers edge was until this past fall to be honest. Don’t follow, click or reread anything they put out. Just like Quick,Jaynes and Canzano.....what do they know we don’t? First time I’ve typed those names in 10 years at least.
