News flash, Blazers almost beat the reigning champs last night without LaMarcus on the court. Fran Blinebury can suck on a pinwheel. Go Blazers! Win streak coming up soon. Stay tuned!

IMO the "reigning champs" did not look very good and they were without Wade

In my opinion they played a great 1st qtr and 4th qtr which is what you want in a game and Wade sits out every other game for the Heat this season. He's not their best player, but LA is our best player.

bottom line is that we lost again and are not playing very well as playoff time approaches

Sort of like the Heat and Pacers, both have similar losing records over the last dozen games. That and they are considered top tier defensive squads. It's a long season. I'm not done cheering for the good guys at all.

I am not done cheering either but "at this time" I am a lot less optimistic about possibly winning a playoff round than I was a few months ago, just being realistic based upon what I see

I have no doubt we make top 4 by the end of the season. I think we will easily make it to the 2nd round.

It's weird how so many think the sky is falling. Stott's given a 7 game series, players have days rest, and Dame obviously a true leader; this team is destined for success.

I think having Joel Freeland back for the playoffs instead of Meyers Leonard and LaMarcus instead of Dorell Wright is going to bring playoff success plus the added factor that our bench is getting some experience with the starters going into the post season. Rolo can't clog the lanes by himself night after night. With Freeland playing our defense is way better for 4 qtrs. Damian and Mo are going to surprise some folks in a playoff atmosphere. If we get out of the first round, we've exceeded my expectations this season. Put it all on the floor in the post season when you don't have to pace yourself and refs let you play some defense.

Exactly! I don't know what the hell people are so worried about?! Freeland is far greater than Leonard and Aldridge is light years better than Wright. It's weird how memory fades from just 20 games ago. Hahahaha

Stotts is a players coach, he trusts his players to execute, sometimes they don't. It's ridiculous to say he doesn't allow them to play defense. The Pacers are one of the best defensive teams in the league but I don't see folks screaming their coach doesn't let them make shots.

Finally a shiny beacon of homerism amongst a sea of negative Nancy's and Debbie downers!

I think we are fine and will certainly make it competitive in the playoffs but how are we getting back to top 4? That would practically take winning out as the teams above us are going to go at least .500 from here out. I think 5 spot is probably where we land unless we actually want a lower seed due to matchups. I not thrilled with playing HOU.

Houston could easily get the 3rd seed
