I love the brand of basketball were playing right now. Wesley Matthews is an absolute beast. So good at slashing to the basket.
the team looks GREAT so far. hope they keep it up. b-roy is raining jumpers, wes is killing it (as usual), camby and aldridge are hustling, and dre miller is playing his role really well. This is fun! (hope they keep it up)
What a high scoring first half. We moved the ball really well and took smart shots. I wonder if our guys can keep up this level of play since this is a back to back and they may be tired.
I thought Nate was gonna play a lot of guys tonight. So far, the starters has played a bulk of the minutes, even more than the Suns' starters, who didn't play last night. Our bench only has 6 points, making me nervous for the 2nd half, when we may have to rely on them for energy and relief for the starters.
I love the way Miller's playing the point and how Wes Matthews is taking the initiative to get some movement going on the offensive side of the ball.
Batum ain't doing so hot. 8 minutes played and zeros across the board (except for 1 foul). Yikes. He's gotta be more aggressive on both ends of the court in the 2nd half.
I loved Camby's dunk putback after the Roy miss. And Andre has gotten the ball to someone right at the hoop a couple of times. Fun game. Hope the bench steps up for the 2nd half.
Well, this has been a joy to watch so far. Everybody is filling their role. Miller is finding open players in the post, Roy is demanding doubles at times and passing to Matthews for 3, then crossing over defenders and hitting jumpers when not doubled, Camby is rebounding, and Aldridge is running the floor. Batum seems to be a ghost now, but this is fun to watch so far.
Our defense was solid in that 3rd quarter and we executed well in our offense. Our rebounding was excellent. Camby must've had at least 5 rebounds that quarter, leaving the Suns with one-and-dones. Awesome.
