I was out Homered by Homer again!

 

Knew I should have gone with the Suns, but I didn't want to go against the Blazers while their record was still untainted by a loss. Short-lived problem.

I was thinking the same thing., Thats why I only gave the Blazers a one point edge. The circumstances coming into the game looked like Phoenix would kill anyone with the first loss combined with the tribute... and they did.

 

They wouldn't have won had the reffing been even close to correct. And the refs apparently knew that.

I dont know about that. Phoenix was all over defensively and if you even the fouls out, being impartial, I thought they won more of the 50/50 plays, which is usually the case for the win. We were out hustled. It wasnt ALL on the refs. I do think that we broke down at the end. We weree only down by 6 at the half, and considering the situation, I thought that was a win, but then we collapsed poor decision making, the mounting pressure of the moment, knowing the other team was going to come out absolutely fired up... many factors beyond the refs unbalanced, whistle happy bs.
The thing is though. The energy they portrayed, I think was just barely a notch above ours overall last night. But I think ours was lower than it will be on average. However theirs was a super peak they might only achieve a few more times in the season.
I fully expect us to stomp them tonight.
