I would rather beat them for many reasons... 1.) We know Wallace will want to prove something to Portland. 2.) We have many other games to lose. 3.) Jersey needs a couple losses to keep them around 6. 4.) Cause I want D Will to see just how good we could be.

Looks like Crawford is a game time decision. And starting line up will remain the same as last game, according to Haynes

I think lose. Helps us in the lottery. Also NJ is #5 now, that's too many chances to get into top 3; i would rather see them at 6 or 7.

Looking at the schedules of the other teams, courtesy of Run BJM, I think even if NJ wins tonight that they probably won't fall below 6th in the lottery race, and that seems like about an ideal spot for them (for us). Sacramento has looked a little better lately and has three probable wins left on the schedule, NJ has only two probable wins after tonight's game. Detroit has three less losses than NJ and also has three probable wins in the remaining schedule. So, definitely, we need to lose, if Gerald feels better, i have no problem with that. I hope Deron will want us to get in a better draft position.

I would actually like NJ to fall to #7. More #5 and #6's make it to the top 3. In fact, I've seen more #1, #2 drop to #3 and #4 than #5 and #6's make it to the top 3.

Your quote is a little confusing; but I would be happy with 7 also, just not sure if they could fall below Detroit. (Actually I guess they only need to fall below SAC which wouldn't be that difficult)

I didnt realize that D-Will has made the 2nd most 3 pointers this season. Now granted he has also taken the 2nd most but it still makes me wonder what it would be like to have a PG that consistently knock down the outside jumper. How much more effective would with LMA in the post and vice versa not to mention Batum on the wing for the 3 ball. Dare to dream ...

There is the concern with how he forced Sloan to retire. Frankly, I don't give a shit. I want a pro PG bad. We need someone that can run the offense.

Sorry about confusing you. I just want to keep the Jersey pick around #6 or #7. I think that's a good position for us to have their pick. It would be nice for the Blazers to drop to #9, but I just don't see it happening. Crazy thing is #5 and #9's have won the most #1 picks since the lotto balls started.

As a wise man succinctly phrased it to me today: If we lose to the Nets it increases our odds in the lottery and decreases theirs. That's a win-win for the Blazers.
