The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added non-import receiver David McKoy to their roster.

McKoy (6-2, 195, Guelph, DOB: July 5, 1983 in Mississauga, Ontario) was drafted by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2nd Round (9th overall) of the 2007 CFL Canadian Draft. As a rookie, he played in nine games with the Riders before missing the remainder of the season with a knee injury. He spent the entire 2008 and 2009 seasons on the Injured Reserve list but came back to play in Saskatchewan's two playoff games in 2009. McKoy is no stranger to Winnipeg having spent some time on their practice roster last season.

"Having spent time with him in Saskatchewan I know the outstanding work ethic and professionalism David brings. He will be an excellent addition to our locker room," said Head Coach Paul LaPolice.

In college, McKoy played four seasons with the Guelph Gryphons and was second in the CIS with 48 receptions for 858 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior. He was named a CIS First Team All-Canadian and an OUA First Team all-star.
