The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added some CFL experience to their offence today with the addition of import receiver Chris Davis. As per team policy, details of the agreement are not disclosed.

Davis (5-10, 180, Wake Forest, DOB: December 1, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia) spent the majority of last season with Hamilton before signing with Calgary in September. In nine games with the Tiger-Cats, Davis made 34 receptions for 440 yards and two touchdowns. His best performance came on July 18 when he made six catches for 122 yards and a score. Davis originally joined the Ti-Cats on Oct. 8, 2008 and was a starter in each of Hamilton's four final games. He made 20 catches for 228 yards and three touchdowns during that time. Chris has also spent time during his pro career with the Montreal Alouettes, Tennessee Titans and New York Jets, playing two games for the Jets in 2007.

Davis played four seasons for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and caught 62 passes for 721 yards and four touchdowns throughout his NCAA career. In 2005, his senior year, he hauled in 23 receptions for 220 yards and one score.
