The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added some size to their receiving corps with the signing of import receiver Terence Jeffers-Harris.

Jeffers-Harris (6-2, 220, Temple, DOB: June 24, 1988 in Lawrenceville, Georgia) started 21 of 25 games in two seasons at the University of Connecticut. In 2007, his sophomore year, Terence caught 44 passes for 582 yards and five touchdowns before transferring to Vanderbilt. He sat out the 2008 season under NCAA transfer rules. Overall, he finished his NCAA career with 61 receptions for 782 yards and five touchdowns.

"Terence has great size and great speed, and we think he's suited for the Canadian game," said Vice-President and General Manager of Football Operations Joe Mack.

The Blue Bombers have also released linebacker Siddeeq Shabazz.

"Siddeeq was a good player for our club and we thank him for his services," said Mack.
