    Delaware Blue Coats News Release

    The Delaware Blue Coats (5-0), the NBA G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, defeated the Iowa Wolves (0-5), 133-111, on Wednesday night at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Florida. The Blue Coats made a G League season-high 21 three-pointers and are the league's only remaining unbeaten team.

    76ers two-way contract player Paul Reed delivered his fifth consecutive double-double to begin the season by posting game highs of 27 points, 14 rebounds (eight offensive), five steals and two blocks. Fellow 76ers two-way contract player Rayjon Tucker tallied 21 points, seven rebounds and a game-high-tying six assists for the Blue Coats.

    Six Blue Coats scored in double figures for the second straight game.

    Jordan Bone came off the Delaware bench to score a season-high 23 points on 8-14 shooting from the field and 5-9 from three-point range. He also grabbed three rebounds and dished out a game-high-tying six assists.

    In the second game of a back-to-back, the Blue Coats led 65-58 at halftime before outscoring the Wolves 38-20 in the third quarter. In the effort, Delaware shot a season-high .522 (48-92) from the field and .447 (21-47) from three-point range. The team also swiped 12 steals and has now recorded at least that many in four out of its five games. No other G League team has done so more than twice.

    Lindell Wigginton led Iowa with 19 points and added five assists. Zylan Cheatham added a season-high 10 points and led Iowa with nine rebounds. Five other Wolves also scored in double figures in defeat.

    UP NEXT: The Blue Coats will face the Long Island Nets on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET. Long Island currently holds a 2-3 record. The game can be seen locally on DETV Channel 28 and heard on Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM.
