The driver of a BMW in San Jose, California had a close call Friday afternoon -- escaping with barely a scratch after a massive object crashed into the windshield of the luxury sedan, fire officials said. The driver was in the car on I-280 when the metal object -- believed to be a truck loading ramp -- pierced through the windshield around 12:40 p.m., according to Capt.
