Sampson was placed on the injured list on November 29 for the second time this season due to a right ankle injury. He appeared in five games this season after he was activated on November 15 and averaged 2.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 13.4 minutes. The 6-11, 258-pounder underwent right foot surgery on March 9, 2004, and was selected by the Bobcats in the Expansion Selection on June 22 from the Los Angeles Lakers.

White has missed the last four games with a right shoulder strain he suffered in the second quarter at New Jersey on November 30. The 6-9, 290-pound center played in eight games this season with averages of 2.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 7.1 minutes.
