Bobcats-Mavs preview7:30 p.m. today, American Airlines Center, FSNSW; ESPN-FM (103.3), KFLC-AM (1270, Spanish)08:19 PM CST on Thursday, March 2, 2006By EDDIE SEFKO / Staff WriterSeries: Mavs lead 1-0 this season, 3-0 all time.Key matchupRaymond Felton vs. Adrian Griffin: Felton is the forgotten member of the crop of rookie point guards who were highly drafted last summer. Everybody knows about New Orleans' Chris Paul. And Utah's Deron Williams is renowned in these parts. But Felton had 11 points and six assists in the Bobcats' 104-89 win at Utah on Wednesday and he's learning the ropes from Brevin Knight ? the Bobcats have taken to starting two point guards. Griffin, Jason Terry and Marquis Daniels all will get a crack at the rookie out of North Carolina.Inside the BobcatsSurviving: Bernie Bickerstaff has coached the Bobcats admirably despite the loss of their best player, Emeka Okafor, for most of the season. He's been out with a right ankle sprain. And if you want to win a bar bet before tonight's game, dare anybody to spell Okafor's full first name. It's Chukwuemeka.Briefly: Their 16-43 record doesn't sound like much. But last year, they didn't win No. 16 until their 77th game ... Though Gerald Wallace hasn't played enough games to qualify, he would be second in the league in steals at 2.39 per game, trailing only teammate Brevin Knight (2.42).Inside the MavericksEnjoy it while it lasts: The Mavs will have to endure the second half of back-to-back games after taking on San Antonio on Thursday. But this is the start of a three-game homestand that ends a stretch of 14 home games in the last 17 outings, dating to late January. Starting Thursday, they are on the road for 10 of 13 games to finish March.Briefly: Avery Johnson has lost consecutive games only once in his coaching career (Nov. 29 and Dec. 1 this season) ... They led virtually throughout in winning 98-88 at Charlotte in November.PROBABLE STARTERSBobcats Pos. No kidding. It would to lose to the bobcats a game afterwards but Dallas might be a little tired after that grueling game last night against the spurs.

Mavs are still thinking about last nights lost I think. They are not even thinking on the offensive end. 18-16. Why isn't Daniels playing? He is the only fresh player and is being benched.

wow, 37-36 at the half. Dallas is playing really bad. They have no energy. 37 is the lowest score in a half this season("breaking" the record set last night at SA)Mavs didnt play good, Avery will probably throw some chairs and tvs in the locker room at halftime

Our offense just hasn't been the same since All-Star break. I think it's time for a lineup change. Preferably Daniels starting. I look for Rawle to play with Howard, Van Horn out.

The mavs won 90-74 but in expense of Howard injuring his hamstring. It actually happened in the spurs game but it got worse tonight. Anyways Daniels with like 8 assist and helped Dallas find their passing game.
