<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MINNEAPOLIS, July 8 -- The Charlotte Bobcats used strong starts in each of the first three quarters to defeat Milwaukee 74-63 Thursday and record their third win in as many games in the Minnesota Summer League.

"Our guys played hard again and we want that to be our reputation as we build this franchise," said John-Blair Bickerstaff, the team?s coach on Thursday. "We have a lot of athletes on our team and we want to be able to take advantage of that. We want to be very active and activate our offense through our defense. We did that tonight."

The Bobcats scored the game's first six points and started 6-for-9 (.667) from the field en route to a 13-5 lead. Charlotte had seven players score in the opening period and the Bobcats shot .529 (9-17) from the field in taking a 20-16 lead.

A 7-2 run to begin the second period pushed the Bobcats' advantage to nine points at 27-18. Charlotte increased its lead to 42-28 late in the second quarter on an electrifying alley-oop from Smush Parker to Gerald Wallace for the biggest lead of the half. Charlotte led 44-31 at halftime behind nine points and six rebounds from Tamar Slay.

Charlotte came out in the third quarter with a 16-5 start to boost its lead to 60-36. The Bobcats shot .615 (8-15) from the field while holding Milwaukee to .250 (4-16) from the field.

Slay paced the team with 11 points and Corey Benjamin added 10 points. Loren Woods finished with six points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots.</div>

I've been really impressed with Loren Woods so far. He is a good rebounder and shot blocker. I think he has a good chance to make the roster.

I watched some of the game, I saw the alley oop, it was sick.. Smush, Slay and Wallace should be for sure on the roster same with, Loren Woods he would be great off the bench for us behind Emeka, Jamal Sampson, Predrag Drobnjak and Jahidi White.

I seriously doubt Jahidi White is going to make the roster.
