Currently in his third NBA season out of Michigan, Robinson (6?6?/210) was a second round selection (45th overall) of the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2004 NBA Draft. In 118 career games, Robinson has averaged 4.8 ppg and 2.9 rpg in 15.9 mpg. This season, Robinson has appeared in 21 games for the Bobcats, averaging 2.4 ppg and 2.0 rpg.</div> Bobcats Get Jeff McInnis Nets Get Bernard Robinson cash considerations I like Bernard Robinson, really. I don't think Jeff McInnis deserves to be given an opportunity however, due to his lack of work ethic and attitude. McInnis has always carried some extra baggage, but he used to at least be a solid point guard for Portland and Cleveland. I really liked his game then, but then he gained weight and started unnecessary drama within the New Jersey Nets organization. Well Bobcats, good luck with him, and hopefully he pans out and doesn't cause any problems around the young core.
Yeah I like Bernard also. Hes my hometown boy. lol But I hate to see him go to New Jersey and get overshaddowed by Jefferson, Carter and Wright.
I actually like this deal for the Cats. They're obviously are short at pg with Knight out with his abdominal injury. McInnis has good history with Bernie, so it's no shock that Bernie again has brought him on. If anyone can possibly get through to McInnis, it's Bernie. As for Nets, I think they just wanted to shed deadweight, Robinson is going to be pined for playing time imo. He'll be in a similar situation he was in Charlotte, but worse.
