<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Andrew Bogut's agent said Thursday that the 7-foot center was not worried about the abrupt firing of Milwaukee Bucks coach Terry Porter. Bogut, who is considered the favorite to be picked No. 1 by the Bucks on Tuesday in the National Basketball Association draft, worked out with the team and met Porter and Bucks officials earlier this week. "Obviously, management felt they had to make a decision for the betterment of the team," said agent David Bauman of SFX Basketball. "They want to win and they're very competitive, as Andrew is." Bucks general manager Larry Harris announced Porter's firing Wednesday afternoon, six weeks after the coach had been told he would return for the third year on his contract. But Harris and team owner Herb Kohl changed their minds and decided to look for a veteran coach, rather than letting Porter play out his contract as a lame duck. Bogut is in Atlanta to work out today with the Hawks, who hold the No. 2 pick in the draft. But Bauman said Bogut was still thinking he will wind up with the Bucks. "We would have preferred that we didn't have to come here," Bauman said of the trip to Atlanta. "But you've got to do what you've got to do. "We left there feeling confident he's going to go No. 1 and he's going to be a Milwaukee Buck."</div> Source
