The Tampa Bay Lightning were still in negotiations Tuesday trying to finalize a deal with Guy Boucher to become their new head coach, a source told ESPN.com. It was hoped a deal could be reached later Tuesday or Wednesday, the source said. Montreal website RueFrontenac.com first reported the Lightning offering Boucher the job on Monday night. Boucher was the AHL coach of the year this season with the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Montreal Canadiens' farm team. The Habs allowed Boucher to pursue NHL opportunities.
