    The Chargers agreed to terms Friday with run-stopping nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin, now entering his 10th NFL season. The one-year pact came a day after the team released defensive end Luis Castillo, but it had been in the works for sometime.

    "We think he's a very good football player," General Manager A.J. Smith said. "We've been tracking his career. We've tried to do a contract for a few months and it didn't work out. ...We do like the depth. I think I've talked about getting better depth. Without a doubt, l think he's going to help our depth.""
