The Winnipeg Blue Bombers made official the signing of receiver Chris Davis Friday.

Davis spent most of last season with Hamilton, catching 34 passes for 440 yards and two touchdowns in nine games, before joining Calgary late in the season. His best game came against Winnipeg on July 18 when he had six catches for 122 yards and a major.

Davis, a 26-year-old from Atlanta, first joined the Ticats in 2008. He’s also spent time with Montreal, and played two games for the NFL’s New York Jets in 2007. The Wake Forest product also spent time with the Tennessee Titans.
