Paul LaPolice has been preaching to his players since Day 1 that they were going to face adversity. Good thing, too, because you can’t get any better adversity than giving up a touchdown on the first play of the season, which happened to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday night when Hamilton Tiger-Cats returner Marcus Thigpen took the opening kickoff to the house.
