Team officials project Bonner to miss anywhere from two to six weeks, but Popovich said, "It'll be several weeks, for sure." Bonner will undergo an MRI today to determine if there is additional damage to the knee.</div> I love Matt Bonner. He grew up 40-45 minutes away from where I live, and he's one of the only few guys to make the NBA from New Hampshire. I hope the Red Rocket gets well soon!
Ha. The Red Rockets. I was going to make a comment about him and his redheaded friend, Brian, but your comment would trump any one I would have made. This is too bad for the Spurs, he's a pretty decent role player.
yeah, I like him a lot, he hustles on everything even though he's slower then rasho lol......he's fun to watch just cause of that, and he's a 437125093847609238476209834672059867204029487609872486704926874 better then no shot bob........
Bonner is a hustle guy and a great shooter. I love the guy, and I love his personality, but he just isn't the right fit for the Spurs. I hope he gets better though.
you obviously don't watch spurs games, he has been badass for us the last month.....it took him awhile to get used to playing with a good team, but now he was fitting in perfect for us......
I watched him all the time when he was with the Raptors. I don't think he fits in because he is a terrible defender (and the Spurs thrive on defense), and he can't do much besides shooting.
again, you obviously haven't been watching spurs games, he's been great for us, he hustles on everything, the thing is, we are a great defensive team, we will make other players look good, and we have made him look good on defense, he has not been a liability for us........the raptors suck at everything which made him not look good................also, y'all had him playing out of position according to fans of the raptors at some other site, saying y'all played him as a sf......we play him as pf

may be dumb, but very true, y'all ain't a team that will make a player look good unless they are, we are a team that will make players look better then they really are.......that's why bonner has fit in so well with us....watch games before saying he doesn't fit

When a player comes to San Antonio, Pop makes the players play defense. If they dont, the guys don't play. Even though Bonner has been doing pretty well for the Spurs so far this year, I don't really like him. He hustles alot on defense, but he also fouls alot. And I cant stand his form. It is terrible! I know that isnt a good reason not to like him, but I cant stand it.

The spurs didn't expect much out of him anyways because trading Rasho was mainly a salary dump.

Bonner was playing great for us, he was hustling, shooting lights out, and actually playing some decent defense. So if you dont know if he fits in the spurs system (which obviously you dont) then do us all a favor and dont post in the spurs discussion forum. The injury has come at a bad time but there is one positive from the injury. Possibly some minutes for James White!
james white won't get playing time, pop hates black people unless you are over 40, or ain't american....plus, I'd rather him stay in the dleague instead of rot on our bench.......he's been doing badass for the austin toros
