Re: Boondocks Fans! Hahaha... nice song kinda, but more entertaining dubbed overSpeaking of boondocks, you guys should check out the Unspoken Heard, they made the theme song for that show I believe, they're a really nice underground rap duo. People who like a Tribe called Quest would like them, but they are more lyrical IMO
Re: Boondocks Fans! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unspoken_HeardCan't put a finger on a certain song, but I downloaded both their albums and was very satisfied

They would remix songs with different beats and at times, different lyrics. Extended beats (great production), extras...It was like buying another CD. All five of their albums are essential, but they also did alot of unnoticed work on soundtracks. Their 2nd album, The Low End Theory, was thought untoppable, but Midnight Marauders is one of the best albums in music history, spawning ridiculous remixes. They never got better than their third album, but they didn't get too much worse. The best lyrics met the best production and teetered afterward. Tip did a couple of solo albums and one did pretty good. He said that hip hop was dead back in 98, I think. Ali joined a triptet called Lucy's Pearl, and they did ok. Remixes were their hallmark. It was like they would have three dope versions of the same song. Their singles are invaluable.http://youtube.com/watch?v=qG6egL8L2LA&...ted&search=Edit: It took me like a half hour to write this because I kept going from song to song.

Re: Boondocks Fans! I thought "Award Tour," and both mixes of "Scenario" were just eh, compared to the gems I've assembled. Now that I think about it, I didn't like their videos or singles near as much as the hidden stuff on the albums. If I wanted to introduce myself to Tribe, this is the list and method I would use.
Re: Boondocks Fans! I think the reason I'm saying that is because that's how I started out listening to them, and they're my favorite rap group easily. And I started listening to them for a long time, before I could even really appreciate music
