every game Boone looks a little better out there. He is getting pushed around less and less; is more assertive; and is handling passes better. He is defeinitely rounding into shape. Thank goodness, too. Hopefully next year, for a change, the Nets will stop with this one-year rent-a-big crap. Of course, who knows what whether we'll need a replacement for K.

I'm sure Thorn hopes so too. We weren't sure what we had in Boone, Williams, and Krstic, thus the signings of Magloire and Allen. Williams play thus far basically eliminates Allen's spot next year. If Boone can consisitently produce in his minutes. We may go into next year with 5 bigs. Krstic, Collins, Williams, Boone, and.....for the final spot you're looking at a rookie or 2nd year player who won't see much time. The days of rent a big maybe over if Krstic can comeback strong post all star game.

Also, Boone needs to stop getting surgery in the offseason. Just imagine how good he would've been playing all along, if he didn't get shoulder surgery.

But, I agree, he did look better, with the exception of that last play with giving a Kobe an And1.

Josh Boone can be a starter in this league...if he had came out in the draft a year earlier he would've be a top ten pick...I remember two years ago people thought it was a pipe dream that he would fall to us and then bam...a bad NCAA tourney and he falls to us. Any other team he would've been given minutes but on this team we go to journeymen first then we think about trying young talent.
