The Sixers have agreed to terms with free-agent center Calvin Booth and will sign him tomorrow, team president Billy King said today.

    Contract terms were not disclosed.

The 6-11 Booth played in 44 games with Washington last season, averaging 1.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 44 regular-season games.

The Calvin Booth dynasty is over, he's been on the Wizards since 2001 and has been a great veteran prescence through all these years. He will be missed on the Wizards, however, now we have to start looking at other options for the 15th roster spot. My personal choice would be Roger Mason Jr. because of the terrific basketball he played towards the end of the season.

We had a great run Cal, good luck in Philly.

You're acting like this is worse than Caron Butler or Gilbert Arenas going down with an injury late in the season, haha. Calvin wasn't much of a help last season, he only came in and made a few shots...some luckier than others if you know what I mean, haha. Calvin's a good guy though, but we won't miss him at all.

I know that I'm making too big of a deal about this but Calvin's been on our team for a long time and was liked by pretty much all of the players who've come and gone. When called upon, Booth always seemed ready to play. It's probably just the fact that there's been 0 Wizards news for the past month.
