This guy really picked it up when Bron was hurt, getting 32 pts 20 reb. to beat the Sonics. The Cavs also should have beaten the Kings w/o Bron with boozer getting 11 rebounds. Boozer is the main reason the Cavs are one of the best rebounding teams in the NBA. He is one of only 9 NBA players averaging a double double, & gets my vote for Cavs MVP.

Hard to go against that, but a guy going for 20, 5, and 5 is hard to vote against.

Last 25+ games too he has scored 24 points a game, I love Booze, but not sure if I call him the MVP.

Bron is responsible for almost 30% of our teams offense, not counting the amount of times he gets double teamed.

To defend Boozer I cans ay that when he was hurt, we sucked badly.

Boozers rebounding has been more important than Bron's scoring IMO. Just look at how well the Cavs played when Bron was hurt. Plus Boozer is much better than Bron on defense. Boozer is also one of 9 NBA players averaging a double double. Hard to argue against that. If its just scoring, Bron would get the team MVP. But over all, Boozer just plays both ends much better than Bron & is more of a team player. Plus in 13 of the Cavs 20 wins, Bron hasnt even been the highest scorer!

Boozer is not MVP, he is most improved.

13 of the Cavs 20 wins, Bron hasnt even been the highest scorer! Boozer has been the best rebounder in 90% of the games. How can you explain the fact that the Cavs still won when Bron was injured? Boozer was the one who took the team on his back & got 32 pts, 20 rebounds. Those are the actions of the team MVP.

Its a close call, but you can make a good argument for Boozer. Boozer is always there putting up the numbers night in and night out, where as Lebron has been pretty inconsistent lately. One game he'll score 30, the next night he'll struggle and never really get into the flow of the game. I don't think there is a question as to who is the most talented, but value doesn't have much to do with talent.

Cavs are 2-1 without Lebron. Cavs are what, 0-8 without Boozer?

This is what happens when people think with their heart instead of their head. Bron hasnt even been the top scorer for the Cavs in 13 of their 20 wins! Think for YOURSELF & stop getting brainwashed by the hype. Boozer dominates Bron on defense & defensive rebounds with 8 to bron's 4 pg. Plus, bron averages almost 4 turnovers per games campared to Boozers 1.7 a game.

Redscoon's FAVORITE PLAYER is Bron, yet he can still give props to Boozer. Now THAT is one objective poster, & he has gained my full respect.

Boozer IMO is the team MVP. LeBron is no doubt their franchise player, but Boozer rebounding gives the team second and third chance points, plus he is ALWAYS consistent. LeBron has been pretty erratic of late. I'd give it to Booz.

Well with all the Bron threads, more Boozer threads are needed. I mean how can you ignore a team MVP, like Boozer?

Man if people would look past Lebrons big name boozer is also olny in his second year in the NBA which a lot of people forget. In my opinion he is one of the best players in the league let alone his team. Averaging double doubles in year second pro year is petty amazing if you ask me. LeBron is good for the franchise and the team, but Boozer does all the dirty work, and gets no attention for it. Boozer SHOULD be team MVP.

This one is a toughy! While Boozer consistency has kept us competitve during the tough times, I think it is LeBron who has taken us to another level. James's impact since the arrival of a few vets has been phenominal to say the least. He has dropped off a little of late, but to me he has an edge over Boozer.

BTW : it was good to see James not jacking up ill advised jumpers last night. If only he can be a little more assertive!

Tough call. I guess it would really depend on who you're facing for the night.

2-1 playing without Lebron. 0-8 playing without Boozer. Right now, Boozer is our Shaq & Bron is our Kobe.

Who is the one setting Boozer up? I will knock Boozer on his defese too, he always lets people back him down because he never pushes back. Bron is getting double teamed every night yet he is still putting up 20, 5, and 5. I see people ignoring the assists yet again.

Thing is, kingmelo does not care about who is better, all he is doing is hating on LeBron, nice way to mask it buddy, sure you will last long here.

The fact we have no power forward backup for Boozer hurts us big time when he is out! James however has guys behind him to attempt to fill the void left. We need an athletic big body behind Booz!

^ That's right, Battie and Diop have missed many games this season, and that has hurt us big time.
