<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">On Wednesday, February 8, 2006 Carlos Boozer returned to full practice with the Jazz. Following his workout, utahjazz.com went one-on-one with Carols to see how thing went.

    Carlos Boozer:

?We started going five-on-five half court and then went about four minutes of scrimmaging full-court, my leg felt great. We will see how it goes tomorrow. I wish I could know the future, I am going to go shoot some free throws, do some cardio and lift some weights and then I?m going to go get treatment and ice it down some more and tomorrow we?ll know.?

utahjazz.com: Mentally was their any hesitation before practice:

CB: Honestly, my leg feels really good to me. It?s felt the best to me since I pulled it. To be honest I wasn?t hesitant or worried about it. I warmed up really well, I did things [warming up] at a little slower pace but once I was great.

utahjazz.com: How was practice today? Did you remember everything from training camp?

CB: Coach asked me if I knew all the plays, and I said yes. If I have a problem I?ll ask Tag or Memo or somebody, everything was good, I knew the plays, and it went really well. The rotation went really well and we [the blue team] won the scrimmage.

utahjazz.com: Did the team give you a hard time today?

CB: They were so positive. AK told me I did a great job, Ty [Corbin] told me great job, everyone was happy to see me out there. Memo was smiling and we had a really good time.

utahjazz.com: How do you feel about playing limited minutes when your return?

CB: I don?t want to detract from anything; I want to add to it. I know I am not going to be playing my regular minutes for awhile. When I come in, I am one of those guys that doesn?t want to bring people down, I want to pump people up and pick it up a little bit. I want bring energy and excitement and I want to do everything I can to help the team win.

Jerry Sloan on Boozer?s first practice:

?We didn?t practice very long. We tried to get a little running in, up and down the floor so we could have a little contact so we could see him run up and down the floor.?

utahjazz.com: When do you anticipate deciding if Boozer will play on Friday?

JS: ?I won?t know anything about the game on Friday until we get through tomorrow and the next day?I try to be fair to him and to everybody else involved. He is going to have to try and get ready to play five minutes, we have to try and get ready to win a game, and I doubt he would be on the floor in that situation?we will support him in any way that we can. Our first objective is to win the game and I am not going to jeopardize a guys career. I have never done that and I wouldn?t.?</div>
