Pelinka's client caused a storm of controversy around the league last week when Boozer agreed to a six-year, $68 million contract with the Utah Jazz.

Jazz GM Kevin O'Connor confirmed to Ford on Monday that he was aware that Pelinka had resigned as Boozer's agent. However, he declined to make a statement concerning his resignation. According to O'Connor, the Jazz still expect Boozer to sign the six-year offer sheet on Wednesday.

My faith in agents has been restored while Boozer has solidified his position as one of my least favorite players. If you take everything in the article as true, its probably safe to say that Boozer was the one who decided to go for the money and it was done over Pelinka's objections. I have a hard time blaming Paxson just because he trusted Boozer to keep his word, and I hope he keeps his job. I also like seeing that SFX and Pelinka are making a statement that there is still some honor left in the profession and that they aren't going to take on clients who are as dishonest as Boozer is.

Personally, I hope Boozer is booed at every away game he plays. I'll definately boo him when he comes to Golden State.

By the way, given what he's done, would you even want him back at the one year, 5 mil deal? Personally, if I was Gund I'd tell him to go screw himself and the only way they'd take him back is if he did the right thing and re-sign for one year at $695,000.

I hope Boozer takes the cavaliers deal because if he doesnt, I dont know what I'll do. You guys remember the good old days when a mans word was everything not a signature on some paper...

If Boozer re-signs, plays well and continues to develope into a star next season, this whole fiasco will be water under the bridge for Cleveland. It would actually be pretty funny (and well deserved) if Boozer signs the one year and gets injured for the season. This will make his value lower and the Cav's would have the choice of whether or not to keep him. I have never really wished that upon someone but I'm making an exception for Boozer. Karma is a bitch.

Yeah, I would. It would show me a lot about Boozer if he was actually able to suck it in, turn down Utah's huge offer, and take just a one year deal. Even if it was done under pressure/scrutiny.

On the other hand, if he signs with Utah, under no circumstance would I ever want him back here. And all the talk about Z possibly being traded to free up cap room better be just that - talk. Especially to New York, from whom we would get little in return. There's only two conditions under which Z should be traded now.

    1. They have ZERO intention of resigning him after this season and they get an EQUAL VALUE deal in return.
    2. I lied. There's really only one condition.
