The scoreboard found it difficult to keep up with Central Florida, malfunctioning early in the game when it showed the Knights leading Florida International 87-0. Although the game wasn't quite that lopsided, Blake Bortles threw for 219 yards and one touchdown and the Knights improved to 2-0 for only the second time since 1999 by winning 38-0 Friday night.
