I know that Bosh doesn't have any help but it's not like he's playing really well either. He hasn't learned how to deal with double teams yet and he turns the ball over more than he should. If Bosh wants to be an all-star he has to learn how to get through the double teams. Like I've said last season, I'm not completely convinced that he's our franchise player yet. I hope I'm proven wrong though.
A lot of people are talking man, talk is cheap. These guys better start shutting up and putting up instead. They shouldn't say anything. Go out there and do it. It's getting tirey. Seriously, just go throught the archives of the last three seasons and look at their quotations after each loss, "We should play hard", "we gotta communicate and take pride", blah blah blah blah. Go out there and do it! .. I mean none of us expected them to beat the Pistons at the Palace, but if they played hard with pride like they claim they should, no body would have said a thing. But talk is cheap, go out there and do the things you've been saying you should do for 3 years. Including Bosh. Yes, 0 fouls and 0 block shots in a *****ing 33 point loss is unacceptable.
I think someone needs to tell - Jalen You have to look to pass sometimes, if you get double teamed pass out of it. - Revert back to some off those nice post up fade aways. - Bosh - use your strength more (face to the basket and either a jumpshot or beating his man off the dribble) - while still using the occaisional back to the basket post up move. - Bonner - use your strengths (long range 2-pt shooting with occasional 3) to stretch the defense. - occaisonal pump fake and drive is ok - Mike James -refine shot selection Araujo - Learn to play defense with positioning, not just hard fouling everyone. - Give picks on offense and he has a decent shot or can roll to the rim.
I think this was bound to happen, it was only a matter of time before a talent like Bosh realized that he could be doing MUCH better somewhere else. I see him ending up in Boston becuase of their Center situation.

This is a TEAM forum, just like any other team forum and lately I've been noticing a string of members from other team forums, comming in here, and posting only to talk negatively about the team and Toronto as a city This is considered trolling...and is a bannable offence on JBB. I'm sick of it...How would you like it, if I replied to a thread in one of your forums just to say "The sonics suck, and so does Seattle?" If you have a constructive opinion about the Raptors, then post it. There is nothing wrong with posting an opinion, and having some kind of substance to back it up. That kind of behaviour is encouraged on JBB. However, posting simply "Toronto isn't a real city" isn't going to be tolerated anymore, and your posts will be reported, and could lead to a ban. If you like the board, follow the guidelines, and stick to constructive and intelligent posting, and you'll help to contribute to the community. Otherwise, just leave please. Boston actually has a very solid young core with future stars in Gomes and Green along with West and Pierce.
And all I'm saying is that his lack of rebounding/turnover problems/inability to deal with double teams is not going to magically disappear when he's playing in Boston. Bosh is struggling right now but it's not because he's playing in Toronto. If you're going to make a comment like that, at least back it up with a point and not just say that he's better off playing somewhere else. All I can determine from what you said was that you're making a random comment when you haven't even watched any Raptor games this season.

Bosh isn't a center, he's too light to go toe to toe with most of the guys playing that position in this league. We're getting absolutely abused in the middle this year and having bosh on the court hasn't exactly done anything one way or the other. He's definately not the guy you want in the middle, that's just a waste of his tallents.
I think someone needs to tell Jalen - He is not a star - He is not as good as he think he is - Passing the ball is not a crime - It's not a personal thing when playing a team sport, you can't just take bad shots or hack people because you didn't get a call. Bosh - You can't complain about other people when you aren't doing what you should either - You can't scream at other people [Araujo] when you aren't playing good defense either - You are not a post up player, your post up moves suck, and you just get stuck when you're posting up. Either learn to make decisions in post up situations, or just abandon the idea for now. - Play defense - Really work on those handles, REALLY. Bonner - You cannot create shots for yourself, so stop trying to do stuff off the dribble MoPete - You're playing good, but shut up Sam Mitchell - The Pistons can run the break, they have Tayshaun, Ben, and Sheed as their frontcourt, those guys are about as fast and athletic as any frontcourt in the league. Putting a small lineup in order to speed up the game just helps them more as they'll still score on the break, and just have more mistmatches on the other end. - When a small lineup is clearly not working, you need to change the lineup, not leave it there - Learn how to sub players properly - Please let us have a real offense, not this nonsense we call and offense
What about Mitchell putting Rose on Ben Wallace? What sane coach in the NBA would think that that would end up well?!?!
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> MoPete - You're playing good, but shut up </div> All those things you listed are so true. Bosh needs to step it up. Just to add...Mike James really needs to stop shooting early in the shot clock. I think Calderon should start already. Mike James is ok defensively, but it doesn't make up for his lack of PG IQ and poor decision making.

They have a promising young big man in Al Jefferson who plays power forward, another two young big men who can play power forward in Kendrick Perkins and Ryan Gomes, and two veterans with big, virtually untradeable contracts in Lafrentz and Mark Blount who can both play power forward. Why do they need Bosh? Even if Boston is desperate for Bosh, how can they afford him? Bosh will definitely command more than the MLE and for Boston to get him in a sign-and-trade, they will have to give up some of that young core you talked about, not to mention that trades don't happen often between two divisional rivals. There are many teams that Chris Bosh can go to as a free agent, but I just don't see Boston being one of them.

Hmm. I'm not sure about Bosh leaving - they took a gamble on him when the sent VC to New Jersey. What they really need is another great player to provide Bosh with some help. Nobody else seems to be able to do it night after night on a game-winning scale.

All the raptors ever do is talk about what they need to do, after this happens we can do this, we'll be alright in the future. They say this game after game and year after year. They just need one player who won't except ANY excuses and just go out and play. I thought it might be bosh (and it may end up being) but who knows. Anywayz, I wish the raps the best as they play the rest of the season.
Anyone in here other than me think Matt Bonner is useless? Last year he came in and knock down open shots because no body paid attention to him. This year he is trying to do too much on offense and is a liability on defense....i rather have hoffa, cv , pape, arron williams and maybe even woods to play instead of him
