This changes this much... 0. He was never going to sign an extension. He's gonna test the market. Since he signed his deal a few years ago that was made clear.

I think we definitely end up trading him now.

maybe he might sign with dallas? but probably not since dallas could only offer him the mle and bosh is many things (e.g. the rupaul of big men") but he's certainly not a registered charity. so in other words for the simple minded- the mavericks will be relegated to mediocrity and the most newsworthy matches in dallas would be fought between mark cuban and kenyon martin's mother. i got my money on kenyon's mother.

Gotta love the ignore list function. If only I found it earlier!

He was never going to. He wants to opt out and leverage his FA status against us to get the biggest deal he can get.

well look whoz back, and FINALLY BOSH IS GTN TRADED!!!! decent player but not sum1 you could build a team around not versatile at all does the exact same moves all the time.

I think Bosh is someone you can build around. When he's committed and trying, he puts up some monster numbers. He's pretty versatile to me, as he can shoot, drive, play inside a bit and even handle the ball a little. Doing the exact same moves all the time isn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as it's a move the opponent can't stop. I mean, Kareem just used the sky hook everytime right?

Raptors just haven't been able to put the right parts together, and Bosh has given up and stopped trying. But yeah, the Raptors need to trade him before he gets to talk and they get nothing in return.

And I don't know how much help bringing in Boozer would do. If Raptors couldn't do much with Bosh as their main piece, I don't think Boozer would fair much better.

But the difference with Kareem and Bosh is KAREEM SCORED! whereas bosh will go 0/30 all jump shots with his uggggglllyyyyyyyyy jump shot or keeps on taking 3s with 20 seconds left on the shot clock!!! Kareem OWNED the paint!
Bringing Boozer to raptors gives them a solid inside player who would fit really well with Bargs, why? Cuz he has played with a player named OKUR (who happens to have a very similar game like bargs).
If you analyze the situation you can see that:
D-will, Okur, Boozer isnt much different (not saying they arent better, because they fuckin own) Jose, Bargs, Boozer. Jose can put up the same amount of ast as d-will, bargs can put higher numbers then okur (which makes up for the lack of points jose could put up) and boozer will put up the same numbers as he did in utah if not more.

I don't want Boozer that badly. I don't like his injury history or his complete lack of defense. Also, he's been shut down too often in the playoffs.

You can definitely build a winner around Bosh, but then again you can build a winner around almost anybody with the right amount of depth and supporting stars. Increasingly though, it's looking more and more difficult to build a franchise around him unless he begins to address some of the glaring flaws in his game (lack of defense, one-dimensional offensive game, poor court vision). This is his second negotiated contract coming up. He drew unanimous interest and got the benefit of the doubt from GM's the first go-around because they assumed that, at 22 and having just becoming a number one option, he was bound to improve exponentially. Now he'll be 26, failing to have shown any significant development in his last two season, and GM's will legitimately worry if "this is it" and if "this is enough."

Out of the limmited option raps have boozer is one of the top choices IMO, and i agree with the second part 100% he just needs to be traded now
