The Toronto Raps star got his props with an All-Star appearance, but, sad to say, it looks like he's on the KG career path. Like Kevin Garnett, Chris Bosh seems destined to be an underappreciated superstar stuck in a northern NBA outpost. Great city, weak spotlight. -- ESPN.com </div>

Do any of you think this could be true? i do think bosh is a little underappreciated but its way to early to tell, what his career will be like.

Well the Raps situation is much different than Minny's. We got our first round draft picks the next few years and can legitimately rebuild with youth. And I wouldn't equate Colangelo with McHale.

    How is Kevin Garnett underappreciated?

If anything, the popularity of Vince proves that it doesn't matter where you're playing - if you're good, people will notice.

Exactly. I wouldn't consider San Antonio or Dallas a better NBA market than Toronto, but look at how they've gained solid fan support and publicity by building a contender.

OK Bosh will not follow any kind of the same thing as KG. Bosh unlike KG has talent around him and is getting more and they are just a few years away from become a legitamate contender with Colangelo comming.

So does that mean we'll only make it past the first round once in the next 10 years?!

Chris should and will get his respect in some time. With a good supporting cast, the Raptors would be a solid team that can win games day in day out. Lets hope Colangelo will make the right decision at the right time.

I'm starting to wonder if ESPN has an agenda to get basketball out of Canada.

There's been the back and forth feud between S.A.S. and Toronto fans.
Now you have this idiotic piece of writing. If you notice some responses have the actual person's name. This one only says ESPN.com

I recommend not taking much of anything ESPN reports as fact. They've gone from being a respected source of sports coverage, to man's version of tabloids. They cover more crap that happens outside of sports, than what actually takes place on the court.

I agree, maybe beating the pistons would be nice too.
