Easy game, right? Well, the last time we played ATL, it took us 44 minutes to get our first lead. This game cannot be taken lightly. A couple of my opinions on what needs to be done: -It would be great if we attacked the basket. It seems like we're settling for more and more threes. The 3-point attempts are way up, and the free throw attempts are way down. -GP needs a bigger role on offense. It seems like he is the forgotten man these days. He can be a great scorer, especially in the post. Please run some plays for him. Tyronn Lue will not stop him. -Walker's offensive role needs to be cut down a bit. The more looks he gets, the less effective he is. He should be our 4th option tonight, all things considered. -The defense needs to improve. I'd like to see Doc at least try something different. We're getting killed by the pick and rolls and getting burned by our wacky rotations. Also, maybe showing guys the baseline is not a good idea when we don't have a shot blocker. -A blowout is in order. Losing 4 straight has made the overconfident into underconfident. Taking control early should be the key here, because the last thing we need is a loss, or even a close game, with the league's worst team.

They need a big win to get their heads back on straight. I think that the rookies, West and Allen especially, have really lost confidence in their offensive skills. Like you said, not only do they need to win, they need to win big...
Good win by the C's. They looked great in the first half, running wild on the Hawks. Doc implemented running lanes, and it seemed to work well for us. What can I say about Ricky Davis? Simply amazing game by the man. "If he don't get the award, then there's a conspiracy."- PP (talking about Ricky and the 6th man award) Agreed, Paul.
While they almost let the Hawks back into the game in the 4th, the C's (mostly RD) went on a nice counter-run to slam the door on the Hawks comeback hopes. This could be just what the C's need to get on the winning track again and cement that 3rd spot and home court in the East. Here's the recap, It's obviously brief, given the games nature: Losing Streak Ends
