Round 2 actually. I believe the Celtics already spanked the Lakers last year in the Finals. I hope this post season starts rounding up to be a little more exciting than my predictions stand right now. Right now, with the exception of the Pistons/Hawks series, everything is going how you would expect based on seeds. Although last month, with the January predictions it had both 5 seeds beating the 4 seeds, a 3rd seed beating a 2 seed, and a 2 seed beating a 1 seed, and then beating another 1 seed in the finals. But things have become much more seed-oriented winners this month, although there is a decent chance that changes again as the season moves on further.
I'm confident that the Lakers can beat the Celtics even without Bynum. I think they know what it takes and with the addition of Ariza (injured last year) and Powell (more offence than Turiaf) we've got a better chance. It's the Cavs and Magic im worried (terrified if w/o Bynum) about.
Ariza won't change much if Bynum is injured. The only way the Lakers win it all is if they have a serious mental change.
He hadn't really played since February I believe it was. He was not the impact player that he was prior to the injury or that he is this year.
