In their last game against the Nuggets they had 33 fastbreak points. The Heat need to take away the transition game from the Magic if the want to grab the win. [*]Protect the perimeter: The Magic are not known for their perimeter shooting but if you don't do a good job of guarding the perimeter they can really light you up. They're coming off a hot streak in their last two games shooting 50% (10-20). Not good news for the Heat who have one of the worst opponent 3PT% (36%, Top 10 in the NBA). If they don't do so they might find themselves having to ante up and start shooting 3s as well just to keep up. [*]Keep em off the boards: The Magic frontcourt of Hill, Howard, and Battie average 20 boards a game (22 when Kato plays). That's not even including their backcourt that averages 9 boards a game. They're the best rebounding team in the NBA (and thus the best defense) when they are healthy and if the Heat want to stand a chance at winning the need to box the Magic out from the boards, especially the offensive glass which has been a major issue for the Heat. [*]Stay out of foul trouble: The Magic are gonna try and keep the Heat starters out of the game by playing aggressively against Shaq Wade and EJ looking to draw fouls. The Heat have to find a way to play aggressive defense and match their intensity without getting into early foul trouble or fouling out of the game.[/list]
