I predict that Pierce will get 40+ points in this game because it's against the Wizards.Somehow they always let other players score so many points.First it was T-Mac with 62pts than Stephen Jackson with 42. The Wizards will need to play better defense if they want to have any chance of winning.I predict the Celtics win by 7.

Well actually the last time Pierce couldn't even hit a shot againt the Wizards and went 7-23 from the field, he had 10 boards and 8 assists though. I say the Celtics take this by 5, Pierce scores 25-30 and Arenas and Stack score 20+ while the rest of the starters except for Haywood are in double figures. If the Wizards can play some good D they could pull this one out.

Wiz lose 111-102...Paul Pierce dropped 37....argh...Stackhouse lost this game for us...Etan set his career high with 21 points..Kwame had 13 on 5-8 shooting but struggled from the free throw line.

Here is a summary of Stackhouse's end play: Stack misses a wide open 3 pointer. misses a wide open 3 pointer. gets stripped by Pierce and turns it over for an easy layup. misses a wide open layup on a fastbreak. misses another wide open 3 pointer from the top of the arc. Arenas had a little too many turnovers today (7), but he was on fire and scored 28 points (12-20), pulled down 6 rebounds and dished out 8 assists. Can you say versatile he recently pulled his averages up to 20, 5 and 5. Pierce started out slow shooting bad, but in the second half he was just hitting and hitting.
