<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Whether free agent Ryan Bowen returns to the Nuggets, goes to another NBA team or plays overseas should be known by Saturday, according to the veteran forward's agent, Guy Zucker. Zucker said he talked to general manager Kiki Vandeweghe on Thursday and plans to talk to him again today. Bowen visited the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, visited and worked out with the Miami Heat on Thursday and is expected to participate in scrimmages today with the Heat.</div> More here.
Not a big pickup if it happens but just to add another player for depth. The only thing that's seems to be good about this guy is his % from the field and he hustles. I heard that if we needed a defensive SF then we could start Haslem and put Laettner at PF which works well. Man if we could land Ron Artest that would solve all our problems at SF. Hopefully he goes on the Market and the Heat can make a trade and get Artest. That would give us a nice defensive lineup. I doubt the Pacers would want to improve our team though

As far as this new guy, I don't know anything about him. I don't recall even seeing him play for Denver. I guess I was too focused on Carmelo. I don't know about your idea of starting Haslem at SF. I guess it's possible if his offense is really improved. Also I dont think Laetner should start. Best starting lineup: Wade E. Jones Rasual Haslem Shaq I also like: Damon Jones Wade E. Jones Haslem Shaq

If this is true, this lower's his trade value and his contract is small (about 5mil a year I believe). Riley said he would love to have two or three Artests on his team so he might go after him. Let's hope we can though . But I doubt the Pacers wanna make us more of a contender so who knows and like you said who do we have that we can trade for Artest. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting heatfan:</div><div class="quote_post">As far as this new guy, I don't know anything about him. He's just gonna be a role player not a point producer although he's around 40% from the field. He's also here to make sure Rasual and Person don't slack off on defense or he will get more minutes . <div class="quote_poster">Quoting heatfan:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't know about your idea of starting Haslem at SF. The point of having Haslem at SF is not for his offensive production, but to add another defender PF like Laettner and give us a strong defensive lineup. I don't think they will start him at SF though, but who knows what the final outlook of the lineup will be. BTW it wasn't my idea it I read it on the herald that they're gonna expirment with it to have a lineup that can defend better. And also Haslem is probably the 4th or 5th scoring option so... <div class="quote_poster">Quoting heatfan:</div><div class="quote_post"> Best starting lineup: Wade E. Hopefully D.Jones can step up his defense and prove to be a starting PG so he can solve our problems at the PG and SF spot. Peace im out
