Two of the best mid-majors will go at it in Bucknell-Northern Iowa and one of the more underrated mid-majors in George Mason will take on Wichita State. So I'm ready to see how good some of these teams really are.
My favorite is probably between NW St.-Utah St. or Akron-Nevada, Akron is suppose to be good from what I've heard....
Northern Iowa-Bucknell was one of the better games of the year! Northern Iowa forward Eric Coleman tied the game up with 6 seconds left in regulation to send it to overtime...Bucknell looked to have it won in the first overtime but with 2.8 seconds left, Donald Brown threw the inbounds pass away...UNI guard Erik Crawford then hit a fadeaway jumper to tie it up with .8 seconds remaining. Charles Lee would hit a basket with 13 seconds to give Northern Iowa a 63-61 lead...Bucknell would miss a shot and UNI would hold on to win it 65-61.
