The Sacramento Kings? Brad Miller today (1/31/05) was named the Western Conference Player of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, January 24 through Sunday, January 30. Miller helped the Kings to a 3-1 week by averaging 24.0 points on .683 shooting (3rd in the league), 12.0 rebounds (6th in the league) and 3.8 assists. He scored a season-high 31 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds against New Jersey on January 25.

Miller has been on a real tear over the last week. Its been a while since I have seen anyone on the Kings shoot 68.3% from the field like that. he also came close to tieing a franchise record for most consecutive shots from the field (Richmond has the franchise record of 16 consecutive).

I think that Miller will wind up coming off the bench in the all star game this year if the coaches have anything to do about it.
