http://www.nwcn.com/sports/stories/NW_0919...M.260e4e72.html Newcomer & SB 39 mvp, Deion Branch will suit up for the 1st time as a Seahawk. Last year's meeting with the Giants ended in a wild exchange of missed FGs with the Hawks coming up with the 3 point win. Eli Manning is coming off an amazing come from behind win over the Eagles. Meanwhile the offense in Seattle is off to a slow beginning. Perhaps the addition of Branch is just what the team needs to jump start it's offense. Your thoughts?
He has had about a week to read the playbook. Maybe by week 5 or 6 he'll be able to contribute significantly. Then again, this is totally new to him so it may take longer than that. Health is also an issue with this guy so who knows?
the seahawks can have a killer offense with him, a trio of WRs Jackson, Branch, Burleson then add Shaun Alexander and Matt Hasselbeck. They might have a real scary team in a few weeks when Branch gets it going.
Adding Branch will help Seattle. It will take some time to ease into a new offensive scheme. Don't forget about (TE) Itula Mili as a weapon. Being in the NFCN, Seattle can afford to come out of the gates a bit sluggish.
Ill tell you what playbook aside, tell branch go deep Ill find you isnt a good thing for a Giant secondary that hasnt looked to good.
