Elton Brand said on ESPN Radio 950 that if he opts out his contract, Philly is at the top of the list. Cap space, an improving young team are the main reasons why he'd want to come here. Thoughts?
Brand to Philly would be great. That'd be a helluva team. All they'd need is a couple outside shooters, and you'd have serious EC contenders.

I'm actually kind of hurting over the Korver trade now. His shooting would have really helped us if we're going to contend in the east. But obviously with his contract on board, we probably wouldn't have enough money to sign Brand anyways, and Thaddeus Young probably wouldn't have seen much playing time this season. But yeah, getting Brand would be awesome. That would easily make us a top team in the east, and Iguodala (assuming he stays), will finally feel comfortable being the 2nd option.
