I wonder how chemistry will be without Brand. If the 76ers thrive in his absence, will that be a good enough sign that he doesn't fit with this team?
Lame news for me. Not only did I take him in the 1st round of one my fantasy drafts, but he has hardly produced the way I expected. Now to top it all off, he gets hurt. Great. As for the 76ers, this next stretch will show how good of a signing he was depending on how well they perform without him.
That's weird, too. Brand is averaging a career low in just about every statistical category. He apparently also worked very hard in the offseason (as usual), so this slump he's on is alarming. 76er fans should be especially alarmed since he's turning 30 and is due $80M over the next 5 years. The big question for Philly is where do they go from here? Their best players and highest paid players have taken a step back. Then there's Dalembert who is due $33M over the next 3 years and hasn't lived up to expectations. Where is this franchise headed?
Yeah Moo, he's on my squad too..... Also on ESPN it said that when he does come back it is very likely that his shoulder will get dislocated again while playing. The only way for them to find out is for them to play him once he gets back. I had already tried to trade him right after the coaching change, but it looks like fantasy owners will be stuck with him now.
