Word has it Sterling doesn't like the fact that Brand is the highest played Clipper in history and the team is not winning. We also know that Sterling has been advertising him. With teh Clippers getting the 2nd pick in this years draft, that sets them in perfect position to draft HS Stud Dwight Howard, setting up a possible trade involving Brand. Do you guys think he will be back next year in a Clipper uniform?

I hope he's back, but we can't be sure, I don't see the need of trading Brand just because of Howard, I'd rather see us get a PG and build and add to the current team.

This year their were so many injuries at so many different times that you can't blame Brand for the losing.

^^^i agree... brand is definitely has franchise player capabilities, but if he can't get help, theres no way he's gonna take the franchise in the right direction... i'd love to see shaun livingston or sebastian telfair feeding him the ball next year

If Sterling trades Brand, then he isn't just stingy, he's stupid....

Clippers should just do the right thing...trade down, get a vet in the process, and draft Nelson

I think Livingston would be a better fit. LA already have two scorers in Maggette and Brand, possibly 3 if Richardson stays. Livingston could be worked into the lineup slowly, while they trade for a Vet PG to teach him. He is a more all around player than Nelson.

Actually I kind of was thinking about this exact topic yesterday after the picks were announced. I really would get pissed if it happened but I really wouldn't be surprised if Sterling traded Elton using the excuse he's overpaid and they want Howard.

However, I also can't say I would be totally against trading him if that could bring in a real quality PG. I'd hate to see a talented big guy who's already developed go and get replaced by a high schooler like Howard, but we still do have insurance in Wilcox and Ely. Maybe if they could bring in a All-Star calibur PG it really could work. Maybe a package of Steve Francis + Rockets' pick?

    C: Chris Kaman
PF: Chris Wilcox / Dwight Howard
    SF: Corey Maggette
SG: Quentin Richardson ( hopefully they resign him.. )
    PG: Steve Francis?

i would like to see brand finish his career in a clipper uniform. but i do agree w/ trading down, getting a vet, then getting a pass-first pg, rather than the usual shoot first pg's that are coming out these days. livingston would be my first choice, but if they have to settle w/ telfair, i wouldnt mind either.
