    Various outlets are reporting that his family will take him off life support tonight or early tomorrow.

    Conflicting reports regarding SDR's condition. One said that family were asking visitors to stay home as they came to a final resolution. Another just posted by MMAFighting says they're trying some gimmicks to try and get his brain going again.

    Last I heard was that he is still brain dead but the family hasn't decided yet.

    It seems very morbid. There are a lot of fighters and friends of his posting about how they need a miracle. If they are keeping him hooked up I hope it is for the right reasons.

    Some updates have Shane off of life support and breathing on his own and some brain activity. Awesome news, keep fighting Shane!

    It appears that Shane is still very much alive. Ariel Helwani was unable to confirm the more positive reports (that he's off life support or showing brain activity) but people close to the situation are hopeful. It's been about a week now but the family is doing a good job of keeping information from getting out.

    Pulling for Shane. You would have to think that being an MMA fighter gives his body an advantage over a regular Joe in a situation like this. Fight on Shane!

    One of SDR's close friends Erik Apple posted that Shane passed away today on Instagram, waiting for confirmation. Sad if true. R.I.P
