    WWE.com posted the following today…

    WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Kevin Nash as of Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. We wish Kevin the best in all future endeavors.

    It should be noted that the Kevin Nash 'release' is the top story on WWE.com and refers to him as a former World Champion... sounds fishy.

    The story also notes that he was released on Monday which would indicate it's part of the ongoing storyline.

    The WWE.com statement reads: "WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Kevin Nash as of Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. We wish Kevin the best in all future endeavors."
