Brees to the Saints

SourceBrees is a Saint. I think this will really shake up the draft. If they draft Leinart than it will be like the situation Brees had in San Diego.Lions! This is your chance! Trade up, and DRAFT MATT LEINART!

 

They did a nice job over-paying Brees and possibly messing up their furure. I don't understand this move. Why not just draft a young QB like Matt Leinart and develop him while you're rebuilding rather then trading for an older QB who has an inury to his throwing arm and pay him that money, when you know you will never be good for at least another 3-5 years.

Wow. I thought the Chargers would keep Brees then trade Rivers for some better defense. Brees has done really well and should help the Saints passing game out alot.

 

The Saints are going nowhere soon. Draft Lienhart and plan for the future with a young quarterback who sells more tickets. Instead, they are building for the future with an old QB who is breaking down

 

26 is not old at all. i don't see the problem with this. Brees has been great the past 2 seasons and if they can improve more they are atleast a 6 win team.

 

IMO wayyy to much money to spend on a guy who might miss somg games next year. But good sign.

NFL RIGGED THIS!! THERES A CONSPIRACY!! LEINART IS GOING 2 BE THE NFL'S NEW GLORY BOY!! THEY WANT HIM(LEINART) TO GO 2 A TEAM THATS GOING 2 WIN!! I ALMOST GUARNTEE A TRADE ON DRAFT DAY!!

Since they have a quarterback, they can use their early draft picks on their sorry defense. They should get AJ Hawk with their 1st rounder.
