Outfielder Carlos Gomez and the Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to a one-year deal worth $1,962,500, avoiding salary arbitration. Gomez played 94 games for the Brewers last season, batting .225 with eight home runs and 24 RBIs. Nyjer Morgan eventually took over as the team's primary center fielder.
