<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"The Brewers will announce a record contract extension for left fielder Ryan Braun on Thursday that will set the standard for players with zero to three years of Major League experience, according to a source close to the negotiations. The team has scheduled a 10 a.m. CT (11 ET) news conference to reveal the details of the deal. The contract is for at least seven years beyond this season and exceeds the six-year, $31 million contract signed by Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who would have been eligible for salary arbitration one year earlier than Braun."</div>

Now he just needs to learn how to use his mitt, and find a position that he can stick with. Good signing.

He's doing pretty well this year in the field, but you can tell he's still not 100% comfortable in the new position yet.

Now they need to lock up Fielder...
