I was thinking. Should the Nets try to sign Brian Grant. They need another big men and he could be the Nets solution unless there is somebody else we can get. What d you guys think?
I think that the Nets should if they could get Grant. It would be a nice touch to the team since we lack big men. But right after shopping for a big man downlow, we should probably get another shooter.
I don't think Grant is going anywhere else but Miami. He wants a ring and he's not getting any younger, so playing for Miami is a logical choice even though he won't get much playing time there. Regardless, if the Nets get Grant, they wouldn't have any of their MLE left to put a serious bid to anyone else. You have to remember that Jeff McInnis ate up at least half of your MLE.
Read the other Article I posted in the Nets forum a couple of days ago, Rod Thorn has back off Brian Grant. He feels there is no way Grant isnt going to Miami. It seems like Croshere is his target now, sad as that maybe. And McInnis ate up more then half of the MLE..I think he took 3.5 off of it for next season.

What about Dale Davis?

But I think it is the wrong thing to do...I rather just stand pat with Jackson, Collins, Krstic then bring Croshere into the mix
